My project, "Intimate Matter", is a transmedia approach to the intimate relationships with materiality and the potential of matter to reveal internalized narratives through improvised interaction. This instant composition of forms between the body, the fabric, the water, and the witnessing eye is a process that brings the body into a meditative and reflective state where the mind drifts between sensations, memories, and images. All parts are considered the as active actors in the process. The body responds to the fabric and the way it transforms from dry air into water, observing the internal story that guides her moves, while the external eye (photographer) is also creating her interpretation-external narrative. ​This study on materiality and perception doesn't intend to present fixed attributes to materiality but rather to explore the relative and situated nature of perception upon matter and the material & immaterial worlds of human perception. By exploring its dimensions artistically, we are exploring part of our embodied narratives that rise to the surface of our shared experience.
