Welcome to

retreat

“Rewilding begins when we attune to the rhythms of more-than-human worlds, regenerating relational bonds with ecosystems and shifting from extraction to reciprocity.”

BM.Architect

R.E.W.I.L.D. invites us into a triadic journey of restoration, weaving together Neuroaffective Landscapes, Rewilding Practices, and BODYMIND Architecture.

In a time of planetary crisis, urbanization, and disconnection, we have tamed not only our landscapes but also our inner ecologies. The nervous system, once attuned to multisensory environments and more-than-human rhythms, has been domesticated by rigid architectures—both societal and somatic.

R.E.W.I.L.D. emerges from the urgent need to restore this lost kinship. It proposes that regeneration starts by rewilding perception, nervous systems, and relational patterns. By engaging the body as a sensing terrain, we can remember how to feel, think, and design in ways that honor interdependence.

This residency calls for a shift from extractive systems to reciprocal systems of care—not as an abstract ideal but as a lived, embodied practice. It asks: What happens when we design from the inside out? When nervous systems and ecosystems are no longer separate but co-regenerative? When architecture becomes an act of ecological attunement?

R.E.W.I.L.D. is not about returning to a romanticized wilderness. It is about creating new structures for living, sensing, and building futures where humans and the more-than-human thrive together.

a triadic LAYERING

NEUROAFFECTIVELandscapes

The rewilding of perception begins in the body. Here, we awaken dormant neural pathways, restoring our ability to sense environments through breath, touch, and movement rather than only through thought.

This program focuses on de-domesticating the nervous system—undoing patterns of over-regulation and control—and cultivating sensory attunement. By rewilding how we feel and process, we create inner ecosystems capable of responding to outer ecologies.

REWILDING

Practices

Rewilding extends beyond the forests—it is a political and somatic act of returning to reciprocity. This layer engages with more-than-human systems, guiding participants to unlearn extractive habits and rebuild relations through embodied presence.

Through movement practices, material explorations, and eco-social experiments, the program fosters a visceral sense of interconnection. Rewilding here is an iterative practice of leaning into ecological kinship and co-regenerative processes.

BODYMIND Architecture

To rewild the systems we live within, we must first rewild the designs we carry inside. This layer invites a dismantling of rigid internal architectures and the conscious rebuilding of patterns that support life—within and around us.

The program activates embodied design principles, helping participants layer habits, values, and spatial intelligence for regenerative futures. Rewilding in this context is not just going back to nature but designing forward with nature, creating structures that flow with living systems.

WHAT

R.E.W.I.L.D. is an interdisciplinary residency/retreat, a live laboratory exploring how inner rewilding—of perception, nervous systems, and embodied design—can regenerate our relationships with planetary ecologies.

for WHOM

For artists, designers, architects, leaders, change makers, and deep thinkers to reimagine their practices through embodied intelligence, multispecies kinship, and systemic restoration.

WHY

  • To reclaim your body as a sensing terrain and rewild perception.

  • To grow new ways of feeling, thinking, and creating that nourish both inner and outer ecologies.

  • To step into a collective space of learning, unlearning, and co-design, where prototypes, performances, and new practices emerge as living responses to our time.

  • To collaborate across disciplines and scales, weaving a shared language for regenerative futures.

  • To slow down, question, and reimagine the architectures—visible and invisible—that shape how we live together.
