The body as landscape. I explore how posture, skin, gestures, and visceral responses inform our spatial perception and design intuition. Bodyscapes are somatic cartographies that reveal how we inhabit space from the inside out, and how external landscapes shape the architecture of our neurophysiology. 

Dreamscapes explore the affective logic of the unconscious—where images, metaphors, and non-linear narratives shape perception and creative intuition. I investigate how dreaming, daydreaming, and altered states contribute to spatial imagination, emotional insight, and design thinking beyond the rational.

​Soundscapes explore how auditory environments influence spatial perception and enable inner listening. I work with the echoing qualities of space—natural or constructed—as tools to attune to embodied knowing. Through sound, the body becomes a resonant chamber, where perception is not only external but deeply internal, revealing how we sense ourselves through the sonic textures that surround and move through us.

Deepscapes examine how long-term experiences—such as developmental patterns, learned behaviors, and implicit memory—affect sensory processing, emotional regulation, and spatial orientation. This research informs my work on the neurobiology of depth perception across time and context.

Microscapes reveal the hidden intelligence of the tiny—cells, spores, particles, and micro-signals. I examine how focused, time-sensitive observation of microscopic systems—such as cellular responses and mycelial exchanges—enhances spatial-relational awareness. I explore how microscopic matter shapes perception, emotion, and material interactions, bridging neurobiology with design.

Macroscapes zoom out to observe systems at scale: geologies, ecologies, societal dynamics, and celestial forces. They reflect how the large-scale environment influences individual and collective nervous systems, anchoring perception within a broader context of interdependence.

Mindscapes explore  how cognition is influenced by spatial, emotional, and cultural contexts, treating thinking as a dynamic landscape that interacts with bodily sensation and environmental cues. Mindscapes bridge internal logic with external experience, revealing the mind as both shaped by and shaping the world around it.
