MOLDING
the VOID
Molding the Void is an immersive, interdisciplinary exploration of somatic practice, spatial perception, and kinetic adaptation. This project merges architectural space, floating movement, and surreal dialogues with objects, creating an evolving interplay between body, material, and environment.
Inspired by the Japanese concept of "Ma"—the in-between space that holds presence within absence—it invites participants to engage with the void as an active field rather than an empty one. Through a fusion of movement, sound, and improvisational making, the project expands the sensory possibilities of perceiving and inhabiting space.
The experience is open to painters, aerial and floor movers, musicians, architects, actors, storytellers, and anyone curious about reshaping their body-space awareness. It fosters an environment where the human and more-than-human interact, improvisation becomes a self-perception tool, and collective presence redefines spatial dynamics.
With live music improvisation by Senior Gato, the space transforms into an elastic, vibrating composition, where structures, gestures, and rhythms emerge organically.
